Dylan Elliott joined Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer & Lange as a Legislative Advocate in 2024 after serving on the policy team of State Senator Ben Allen.

In his former role, Dylan served as lead advisor to the Senator on a broad array of issues including natural resources, water, energy, emergency preparedness, health, human services, and governmental organization, among others. In addition to his advisory responsibilities, Dylan managed several high-profile bills during which he successfully negotiated and worked with various stakeholders including advocacy organizations, local governments, and the Governor’s Administration.

In addition to his legislative role, Dylan served on the Senator’s communications team as a speech writer and constituent outreach coordinator prior to a brief stint as Acting Director of Communications. Before joining Senator Allen’s office, Dylan contributed to the Washington, D.C. offices of Congressman Ted Lieu and U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto.

Dylan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Pomona College.
