Celina Buncayo is a Legislative Aide at Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer & Lange. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with Highest Honors and Highest Distinction.
During her time at UC Berkeley, Celina served as Student Director of the Cal-in-Sacramento Program and the Public Service Center, supporting student engagement in public service and legislative affairs. She also conducted and published an honors thesis and several honors research projects at UC Berkeley and Skyline College.
Prior to joining SYASL, Celina contributed to the California Commission on Asian and Pacific Islander American Affairs (CAPIAA), New Voters, and most recently, the Office of Assemblymember Sade Elhawary (AD-57). There, she supported the team and Assemblymember on a range of policy issues, including business and professions, human services, and arts, sports, entertainment, and tourism.
