Increased resources are the bedrock of association growth. That’s where Kim Rothschild’s skills at relationship building come into play.

As the Senior Director, Business Development, Kim sets the standard for revenue generation in support of Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer & Lange’s association clients. Whether through membership development, business development, marketing, advertising, or procuring sponsors and exhibitors for association events, Kim’s impact on the bottom line has enabled association clients to grow in both stature and value.

Part of the SYASL team since 2010, Kim previously served as the Government Affairs Officer for the San Mateo County Transit District, Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. She also served as the Sacramento and East Bay Area Membership Director for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and performed various roles as a staff member with the California State Assembly, including serving as Chief of Staff to a Bay Area assembly member.

In between public sector roles, Kim spent four years as a pharmaceutical sales representative in San Francisco for the international firm Novartis. In this role, she was responsible for new product launches and increasing market share for several medications.

Kim earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of California, Davis. Kim is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
